4 RECEIVE AND TRANSMIT D Roofing filter selection The IC-7600 has 3, 6 and 15 kHz roofing filters at the 1st IF frequency. The roofing filter provides interference reduction from nearby strong signals. q P ush and hold [FILTER] for 1 sec. to enter filter set screen. w Select any mode except FM. e P ush [ROOFING] (F-5] to select the desired filter width from 15 kHz, 6 kHz and 3 kHz. • Push and hold [DEF] (F-4) for 1 sec. to select a default value. The filter shape can be set for each band (HF and 50 MHz bands), mode, as well as the passband width setting (CW only) independently from your default setting in filter shape set mode.
