9 CLOCK AND TIMERS ■ Daily timer setting TIMER1 TIMER2 TIMER3 TIMER4 TIMER5 SET F-1 F-2 F-3 F-4 F-5 F-6 F-2 TIMER F-4 TIME • Timer set mode screen EXIT/SET Main dial • During [Timer1] is selected F-1 F-2 F-4 F-6 CLR SET The transceiver turns power ON and/or OFF automatically on the specified day and time, with the specified frequency settings. q P ush [EXIT/SET] several times to close multi-func- tion screen, if necessary. w Push [SET] (F-6) to select set mode menu screen. e Push [TIME] (F-4) to select time set mode. r Push [TIMER] (F-2) to select timer set mode. t P ush one of [TIMER1] (F-1) to [TIMER5] (F-5) to select the desired timer. y R otate the main dial to select the timer action ON 1 and OFF. u P ush [≈] (F-2) to select the "DAY" cell, then rotate 2 the main dial to select the desired day of the week. • Select "- - -" not to specify the day of the week. The 3 timer will function every day in this case. • Once a day of the week is selected, push [CLR] (F-4) to select "- - -." 4 i P ush [≈] (F-2) to select the "REPEAT" cell, then rotate the main dial to select the repeat function 5 ON and OFF. • ON : The timer functions every selected day of 6 the week (repeats). • OFF : The timer does not repeat. 7 o P ush [≈] (F-2) to select the "ON" cell, then rotate the main dial to set the desired transceiver power 8 ON time. • When using power OFF timer only, push [CLR] (F-4) 9 to select "- - - -." This setting cannot be set when the power OFF timer is set to 0 P ush [≈] (F-2) to select the "OFF" cell, then rotate 10 the main dial to set the desired transceiver power OFF time. 11 • When using power ON timer only, push [CLR] (F-4) to select "- - - -." This setting cannot be set when the 12 power ON timer is set to "- - - -." !1 P ush [≈] (F-2) to select the "Mch" cell, then rotate 13 the main dial to select the desired memory channel number. • If using the currently set VFO condition, push [CLR] (F-4) 14 to select "- - -." !2 P ush [SET] (F-6) to set the timer. 15 • The timer indicator appears. !3 R epeat steps t to !2 to set other timers, if desired. 16 !4 P ush [EXIT/SET] to exit timer set screen. 17 18 19 20 21 116
