3.1 User Authentication Function 3 % If Account Track has been set, enter the User Name, User Password, Account Name, and Account Password. % If "Synchronize" has been set for "Synchronize User Authentication & Account Track," successful authentication results from simply entering the User Name and User Password. 5 Click [Login]. % If there is a mismatch of User/Account Password relative to the registered User/Account Name, a message appears that tells that authentication has not been successful. Click [OK] to go back to the screen of step 4. Enter the correct User/Account Name and User/Account Password. % If the Enhanced Security Mode is set to [ON], the entry of a wrong User/Account Password is counted as unauthorized access. If a wrong User/Account Password for the corresponding User/Account Name entered is entered a predetermined number of times (once to three times) or more set by the Administrator of the machine, a message appears that tells that authentication has not been successful for any subsequent operation for authentication. The machine is then set into an access lock state, rejecting any more logon attempts. To cancel the access lock state, the Administrator of the machine must perform the Release Setting.
