l Roaming auto-retrieve: Disable this option if you only desire the MMS message headers to download while roaming. Enable this option to automatically download your complete multimedia messages even while roaming. l Set priority: Select Low, Normal, or High. n Notification Settings l Notifications: Enable this option if you wish to receive a notification in the Status Bar when a new text or multimedia message arrives. l Select ringtone: Allows you to select a ringer to sound when a new message is received. Tap this option, and then select a ringtone that is specific to new text and multimedia messages. A sample will briefly be played upon selection. l Vibrate: Enable this option if you want the phone to vibrate when a new text or multimedia message is received. l Vibrate type: Choose what type of vibration you wish to apply to new messages. l Preview: Enable this option if you wish to preview the contents of messages when new messages arrive. l New message popup: Enable this option if you wish to see a new message as a pop-up. l Message Reminder: Enable this option if you wish the phone to remind you at every 2 minutes about the messages you haven't read. n Emergency Alerts Settings l Presidential alert: Enable this option if you wish presidential alerts to be always presented. This is set to enabled by default. l Extreme alert: Enable this option to receive extreme alerts. l Severe alert: Enable this option to receive severe alerts. l AMBER alert: Enable this option to receive AMBER alerts on child abduction. l Test alert: Enable this option to allow monthly test alerts. l Font size: Allows you to select the font size for emergency alerts.
