The time is set for the system, on a particular interface or a VLAN. Format no ip igmpsnooping mcrtexpiretime Modes Global Config Interface Config 13.1.6 ip igmp mrouter This command configures the interface to only forward the snooped IGMP packets that come from VLAN ID () to the multicast router mode attached to this interface. The command is not needed most of the time since the switch will automatically detect the presence of a multicast router and forward IGMP packets accordingly. It is only needed when you want to make sure that the multicast router always receives IGMP packets from the switch in a complex network.
