Command Line Interface Reference for the ProSafe 7200 Series Layer-2 Switches, Software Ver- 15.2.11 logout This command closes the current telnet connection or resets the current serial connection. Note: Save configuration changes before logging out. Format Mode logout Privileged EXEC 15.2.12 ping This command checks if another computer is on the network and listens for connections. To use this command, configure the switch for network (in-band) connection. The source and target devices must have the ping utility enabled and running on top of TCP/IP. You can ping the switch from any IP workstation the switch is connected to through the default VLAN (VLAN 1), as long as there is a physical path between the switch and the workstation. The terminal interface sends three pings to the target station. Format ping Modes Privileged EXEC, User EXEC 15.2.13 reload This command resets the switch without powering it off. Reset means that all network connections are terminated and the boot code executes. The switch uses the stored configuration to initialize the switch. You are prompted to confirm that the reset should proceed. The LEDs on the switch indicate a successful reset.
