MENU ● The screen is displayed. 3 Press to select one of the following date formats: Y-M-D (Year/Month/Day), M-D-Y (Month/Day/Year), D-M-Y (Day/Month/Year). Then press . ● The following steps show the procedure used when the date and time settings are set to Y- M-D. OK button 2004 . 01 . 01 Y MD 00 : 00 4 Press to set the year, then press CANCEL MENU SELECT GO 8 to move to the month setting. ● To return to the previous setting, press . ● The first two digits of the year are fixed. 5 Repeat this procedure until the date and time are completely set. ● The time is displayed in the 24-hour format. 2004 . 01 . 01 00 : 00 For example, 2 p.m. will be displayed as 14:00. CANCEL MENU SELECT GO 6 Press the OK button. ● For a more accurate setting, press OK when the time signal hits 00 seconds. The clock starts when you press the button. Note The date/time setting is saved for approximately 3 months using the built-in battery. Depending on how the camera is used, the date/time setting may be erased earlier. Date/time settings will also be lost if the camera is left for a long period with no battery loaded. The internal battery will be fully recharged in about one day with the camera's battery loaded.
