Programming Entering Characters This section describes how to enter characters. • ABC layout Available Characters • Letters: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTU- 3 VWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstu- vwxyz ❖ [Symbols] • Symbols: - _ (space p • Numbers: 0123456789 Press to enter symbols. ❖ [ABC/abc] Use to switch between upper and lower case. You can also use the {ABC/abc} key on the Control Pan- el. Keys ❖ Number keys Use to enter numbers. ❖ A to Z Press these keys to enter upper and lower case letters. There are two types of keyboard layout. See p.205 "Key Layout", . • QWERTY layout ❖ {Space} Press to enter a space. ❖ {Clear} Deletes the character at the cursor position. If the cursor is placed to the right of the last character at the right end of a line, that character will be deleted. ❖ {Stop} Deletes the whole line. ❖ 0 or 1 Use to move the cursor left or right. 98
