Assigning a Speed Dial Location To assign a Speed Call number to a new Contacts entry number, do the following: 1. From the CONTACTS menu, select Speed Dials. 2. Highlight a speed dial location, or enter the speed dial digits into the Go To field, then press SET. 3. At the SET SPEED DIAL screen, highlight a contact, or enter the first few characters into the Go To field. 4. If the selected Contact has more than one number, select the desired number. 5. At the Set speed dial to contact? prompt, select Yes. Removing a Speed Dial Location 1. In the CONTACTS LIST screen, find and highlight the Contact you wish to remove from your Speed Dial list. (For more information, refer to "Finding a Contacts Entry" on page 43.) 2. Press Edit. 3. Highlight the number field marked by the Speed Dial icon ( ). 4. Press Options ➔ Remove Speed Dial. "Remove speed dial?" prompts you to confirm your desire to remove the entry. 5. Select Yes to remove the Speed Dial assignment. "SPEED DIAL REMOVED" pops up in the display, and you are returned to the EDIT CONTACT screen. 6. Press SAVE to save your changes to the Contact. 50

Assigning a Speed Dial Location
To assign a Speed Call number to a new Contacts entry number,
do the following:
1.
From the
CONTACTS
menu, select
Speed Dials
.
2.
Highlight a speed dial location, or enter the speed dial
digits into the
Go To
field, then press
SET
.
3.
At the
SET SPEED DIAL
screen, highlight a contact, or enter
the first few characters into the
Go To
field.
4.
If the selected Contact has more than one number, select
the desired number.
5.
At the
Set speed dial to contact?
prompt, select
Yes
.
Removing a Speed Dial Location
1.
In the
CONTACTS LIST
screen, find and highlight the
Contact you wish to remove from your Speed Dial list. (For
more information, refer to
“Finding a Contacts Entry”
on
page 43.)
2.
Press
Edit
.
3.
Highlight the number field marked by the Speed Dial icon
(
).
4.
Press
Options
➔
Remove Speed Dial
. “
Remove speed
dial?
” prompts you to confirm your desire to remove the
entry.
5.
Select
Yes
to remove the Speed Dial assignment. “
SPEED
DIAL REMOVED
” pops up in the display, and you are
returned to the
EDIT CONTACT
screen.
6.
Press
SAVE
to save your changes to the Contact.
