Features Actually, the Bluetooth specification is a protocol that describes how the short-range wireless technology works, whereas individual profiles describe the services supported by individual devices. Profiles reduce the chance that different devices will not work together. The following Service profiles are available: - Headset: The remote Bluetooth headset enables both outgoing and incoming calls. - Handsfree: The remote Bluetooth car kit enables both outgoing and incoming calls. - Bluetooth stereo headset: used to make calls and listen to music via Bluetooth stereo headsets. - File transfer: used to transfer files to and from Bluetooth devices. - Object push: used to exchange personal data (namecards, contacts, etc.) with Bluetooth devices. - Basic printing: used to print images, text messages, personal data such as namecards and appointments, etc. via remote Bluetooth printers. - Dial-up networking: used to provide Internet access using the phone's modem. - Serial port: used to connect to other Bluetooth devices via a virtual serial port.
