Airplane mode Airplane Mode allows you to use many of your phone's features, such as Games, Voice recorder, etc., when you are in an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data is prohibited. When your phone is in Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or access online information. 1. To turn a feature on, highlight the Airplane mode option and press Select or . 2. Highlight On or Off and press Save. HAC mode This menu is used to activate or deactivate the Hearing Aid Compatibility feature. Important!: Hearing aid (HAC) mode works when the phone is open but is not accessible when the phone is closed. Security The Security feature enables you to restrict the use of your phone by others and to restrict the types of calls. Various codes and passwords are used to protect the features of your phone. Lock phone When the Lock phone feature is enabled, the phone locks and you must enter the 4- to 8-digit phone password each time the phone is switched on. Note: To change the phone password, see "Change password" on page 96. Once the correct password is entered, you can use the phone until you switch it off. The following options are available: - Disable: you are not asked to enter the phone password when you switch on the phone. - Enable: you are required to enter the phone password when you switch on the phone. 95
