EDITING THE DESIGN HOOP SELECTION When you select the design, machine will select most suitable hoop automatically. 1. To change the hoop, press the second tab to open the hoop list. TRACING (B) The Tracing function can be used to trace around the design area. Press the second button to move the hoop so the needle is placed in the upper left corner of where the design will be embroidered. Only hoops that are big enough for the selected design will be possible to select. Basting enables you to secure your fabric to a stabilizer placed beneath it, especially when the fabric to be embroidered cannot be hooped. Basting can also provide added support, especially for unstable fabrics. NOTE: During basting, the design box will be indicated with a dashed line and Basting button will be highlighted. C 3 e NOTE: If the hoop you have selected is not the same as the hoop attached to the embroidery unit, a pop-up will appear to inform you of this. Attach the correct hoop or select another hoop from the list. Hoops 260x150 and 100x100 are provided with this machine. MONOCHROME (D) Press the fourth button to activate monochrome embroidery. The machine will not stop for color block changes. Press the button again to deactivate monochrome embroidery. When Monochrome is activated, this button will be highlighted. EMBROIDERY D 51
