Turn the adjustment screw q to adjust so that the length of the thread remaining at the needle point when the needle bar is at its highest position after thread trimming is 40 - 45 mm. 2. The bobbin thread tension should be adjusted so that when the thread is held the bobbin will not descend of its own weight. Turn tension screw w to adjust. 3. Turn tension screw e to adjust the needle thread tension. 6 - 8 mm Lower Higher r Weaker Stronger t 4. The standard operating range for the thread take-up spring (for heavy materials) is 6 - 8 mm. If adjustment is required, loosen the set screw r and then turn the needle thread tension adjuster.
