Packing and Shipping the MFC Whenever you transport the MFC, use the packing materials that came with your MFC. If you do not pack the MFC correctly, you could void your warranty. 1 First, remove all the ink cartridges and attach the white shipping cover. (See Replacing the Ink Cartridges, page 20-17.) To attach the white shipping cover 2 Attach the protective yellow bar. Protective Yellow Bar 3 Unplug the MFC from the telephone wall socket. 4 Unplug the MFC from the AC outlet. 5 Unplug the Parallel cable or USB cable from the MFC. Caution Do not unplug the MFC after a print job until you hear the final click. 6 Remove the paper wire extension, paper tray, document support, document wire extension, and keep them. Packing and Shipping the MFC
Whenever you transport the MFC, use the packing materials that came with your
MFC.
If you do not pack the MFC correctly, you could void your warranty.

First, remove all the ink cartridges and attach the white shipping cover. (See

Attach the protective yellow bar.

Unplug the MFC from the telephone wall socket.

Unplug the MFC from the AC outlet.

Unplug the Parallel cable or USB cable from the MFC.
Caution
Do not unplug the MFC after a print job until you hear the final click.

Remove the paper wire extension, paper tray, document support, document wire
extension, and keep them. If you are packing the machine for Brother Exchange
