CREATING LABELS Using a Database „ What is the database function? The database function allows you to use existing data from another source to quickly create custom labels containing database content - for example name/address labels or inventory labels with codes. The supported formats are mdb (MS Access), csv (generic format) and xls (MS Excel). „ Creating a name badge label using a database This procedure describes how to retrieve the database information and associate it to the layout. 1 In the Page properties box, select Visitor Name Badge Label from the pull-down list of label types. The tape length and width settings are automatically set to the size of a Shipping label. What is the database function?
The database function allows you to use existing data from another source to quickly create custom
labels containing database content - for example name/address labels or inventory labels with
codes. The supported formats are mdb (MS Access), csv (generic format) and xls (MS Excel).
Creating a name badge label using a database
This procedure describes how to retrieve the database information and associate it to the layout.

In the Page properties box, select Visitor Name Badge Label from the pull-down list of
label types.
The tape length and width settings are automatically set to the size of a Shipping label.

Prepare a rough label layout for the label you want to create.
