After printing, tap Cut paper and cut the roll paper on the cutter blade. ◦ Driver Setting Automatic Cutting > Yes ◦ Output Location Setting Front ◦ Printer Setting Roll Paper 1/Roll Paper 2 > Paper settings > Advanced > Cutting mode > Eject cut Note • Eject cut can be performed when ejecting paper from the front. • Manual (when using media that cannot be cut with the cutter blade) • Manual (for paper of which the leading edge rubs the printhead) Select this if the paper cannot be cut on the cutter blade or the print head rubs against the tip of the paper. Cut each page using scissors. If you want to cut after continuous printing, select Automatic Cutting > Yes or select Print Cut Guideline. ◦ Driver Setting Automatic Cutting > Yes ◦ Output Location Setting Front ◦ Printer Setting Roll Paper 1/Roll Paper 2 > Paper settings > Advanced > Cutting mode > User cut • Paper cutting (to have the roll cut at your specified position) Select this when you want to cut the roll paper by operating the cutter blade using the touch screen after printing with No or Print Cut Guideline selected in Automatic Cutting in the printer driver. Otherwise choose this option if you want to cut the roll edge after loading a roll. ◦ Printer Operation Roll Paper 1/Roll Paper 2 > Feed/cut > Cut paper > Yes Important • When cutting with User cut, or when selecting No or Print Cut Guideline with Automatic Cutting to print, the leading edge of the roll paper may protrude forward from the original position. If the leading edge of the paper protrudes forward from its original position, you may not be able to switch the output location. In this case, cut the paper before switching the output location. • If turning off the power while the paper protrudes forward from its original position, you will not be able to remove the paper. Turn off the power after removing the paper. If you turn off the power before removing the paper, turn it on before removing the paper. Also, in this case, the paper may be scratched. 140
