Automatically Switch Rolls You can load an upper roll (Roll 1) and a lower roll (Roll 2), and automatically change between Roll 1 and Roll 2 depending on the print job. For details on how to switch between Roll 1 and Roll 2, see "How to Switch Paper Rolls" (Windows) or "How to Switch Paper Rolls" (macOS). Important • If Paper retention settings is set to Release, automatic switching of roll paper cannot be used. Note • While printing roll paper on this printer, it is possible to replace the roll paper on the feed slot that has not been printed. If printing was performed from a different feed slot when the roll paper was replaced, printing from the roll being fed continues and the replaced roll paper may not be fed immediately. 154
