Things You Can Do with the Scan and Send Functions To use the Send functions, press [Scan and Send] on the Main Menu screen. This section describes the main functions on the Basic Features screen and the screen for specifying the destination of the Scan and Send function. 3 2 1 6 4 5 Scan and Send Basic Features Screen 1 [Address Book] Press to select a destination from the Address Book (Local Address Book, Remote Address Book, and LDAP Server). You can also register frequently used e-mail, I-fax, or file server destinations in the Local Address Book. 2 [One-Touch] If a frequently used destination is stored in a one-touch button, you can specify the destination quickly. When you press [To Remote Add. Book], you can access the one-touch destinations of another server to specify a destination. 3 [New Destination] Press to specify a new destination not stored in the Address Book or one-touch buttons. 4 [Send to Myself] Press to specify your own e-mail address as the destination. This setting is enabled only if you are managing users by SSO-H or another login system. In addition, administrators can limit general users so that they may only use "Send to Myself" when sending an e-mail. 5 [Specify Destinations] Press to display the methods for specifying destinations or the destination list. 6 [Personal Folder] Press to specify your personal folder as the destination. This setting is enabled only if you are managing users by login service, such as SSO-H. You must set up a personal folder beforehand in order to use this function. [Address■Book]
Press to select a destination from the Address Book (Local
Address Book, Remote Address Book, and LDAP Server). You
can also register frequently used e-mail, I-fax, or file server
destinations in the Local Address Book.
