Turn on your printer. 2. Lift the printer unit and position the scanner support between the tabs to keep it open. The ink cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position unless the printer is busy. NOTE: Do not access the cartridges until the cartridge carrier has stopped. 3. Press down on the ink cartridge lever to raise each ink cartridge lid.
