2 PowerEdge T550 system overview The PowerEdge T550 system is a 5U tower server that supports: ● Two Intel Xeon Scalable processors ● Sixteen DIMM slots ● Two redundant AC power supply units ● Up to 24 universal U.2/SAS/SATA hot swap drives (maximum eight NVMe drives) NOTE: All instances of SAS, SATA, and NVMe drives are seen as drives in this document, unless specified otherwise.
