Parameters Default Command Mode Usage Information Example ● mac-learn-limit-violation - Brings up an error disabled interface that exceeded the maximum number of MAC addresses that it can learn. ● mac-move-violation - Brings up an error disabled interface that was brought down due to station move violation. OS10(config-if-port-sec)# errdisable recovery cause mac-learn-limitviolation Supported Releases 10.5.1.0 or later errdisable reset cause Resets the error disabled state of interfaces. Syntax Parameters errdisable reset cause {all | mac-learn-limit-violation | mac-moveviolation} ● all - Resets the error disabled state of all interfaces. ● mac-learn-limit-violation - Resets the error disabled state of interfaces that exceeded the maximum number of MAC addresses that it can learn. ● mac-move-violation - Resets the error disabled state of interfaces due to a station move violation. Default Command Mode None CONFIGURATION Usage Information Example This command resets the error disabled state of all interfaces according to the option you select. OS10(config)# errdisable reset cause mac-learn-limit-violation Supported Releases 10.5.1.0 or later mac-learn Configures the number of MAC addresses an interface can learn. Syntax Parameters mac-learn {limit learn-limit-value | no-limit} ● limit learn-limit-value - Enter a value from 1 to 3072. ● no-limit - The interface learns the maximum number of MAC addresses that the system supports. Default Command Mode One MAC address CONFIGURATION-PORT-SECURITY Usage Information After you enable port security on an interface, by default, the interface learns a maximum of one MAC address. Use the mac-learn limit command to configure the number of MAC addresses an interface can learn. 1198 Security
