Connecting the Audio Cable for the Video Source Once you've connected the video cable, you may need to connect an audio cable in order to combine the picture with sound. If you've connected your device using an HDMI cable, the audio signal is already carried by the cable, so you don't have to connect an additional cable. (Make sure HDMI audio is enabled in your component's setup menu.) Otherwise, you'll need to connect an audio cable to one of the ports listed below: If you've connected to this video port...
