ESC (- Format: ASCII code: ESC ( Decimal: 27 40 Hexadecimal: 1B 28 Select Score - n1 n2 m 45 nl n2 m 2D n1 n2 m d1 d2 d1 d2 d1 d2 Comments: Use decimal or hexadecimal values for all variables, not ASCII characters. Use the following values for the first 3 variables: n1 must be 3. n2 must be 0. m must be l. The value of d1 determines the location of the score: d1 = 1 for underline. d1 = 2 for strike-through. d1 = 3 for overscore. The value of d2 determines whether the score line is single, double, broken, or continuous: d2 = 0 Cancel the score line selected by d1. d2 = 1 Single continuous line. d2 = 2 Double continuous line. d2 = 5 Single broken line. d2 = 6 Double broken line. The last three bits of d2 determine the characteristics of the score line as shown below: On (1) Off (0) Bit 2 Broken line Continuous line Bit 1 Double line on Double line off Bit 0 Single line on Single line off Note: If bit 1 and bit 0 are both off, the selected score is canceled.
