If the function for redirecting to HTTPS is enabled, HTTP access is redirected to HTTPS access. Since the device uses the self-signed certificate that is stored in the device for HTTPS access by default, a warning message will be shown in the web browser. The user can change the self-signed certificate to any server certificate in the SSL/TLS settings on Web Config. 5.2 JavaScript Even if JavaScript is disabled in the web browser's preferences or options settings, the top page is displayed and the user can transition to each page from the sub-menu on the left. However, the display area and the operation buttons are limited to some extent, and therefore the message "Enable the browser's JavaScript setting." is displayed above the tabs. 13
