Installing and Charging the Battery New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you start using your device, you need to install and charge the battery. To install the battery: 1. Press the battery cover latch downward to release the battery cover. Press the battery cover latch downward and then remove the battery cover. 2. Remove the battery cover. 3. Insert the battery by aligning the exposed copper part of the battery pack with the protruding copper conductor located on the upper end of the battery compartment. Insert the upper side of the battery first, and then gently push the battery into place. 4. Replace the battery cover. Section 1: Getting Started 13

Installing and Charging the Battery
New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you start
using your device, you need to install and charge the battery.
To install the battery:
1.
Press the battery cover latch downward to release the
battery cover.
Press the battery cover latch

the battery cover.

Remove the battery cover.
3.
