Configures the system time using a 24-hour clock format. Configures the time zone where the switch resides. You are prompted to select your location (continent, country, region) by the timezone wizard. Once a region is selected, the switch updates the time to reflect local changes to Daylight Savings Time, etc. Sets the idle timeout for CLI sessions, from 1 to 60 minutes. The default is 5 minutes. This setting affects both the console port and Telnet port. Displays login notice immediately before the "Enter password:" prompt. This notice can contain up to 1024 characters and new lines. Configures a login banner of up to 80 characters. When a user or administrator logs into the switch, the login banner is displayed. It is also displayed as part of the output from the /info/sys/gen command. Enables or disables displaying of the host name (system administrator's name) in the command line interface. Enables or disables the use of BOOTP. If you enable BOOTP, the switch will query its BOOTP server for all of the switch IP parameters. The default value is enabled. Enables or disables Dynamic Host Control Protocol for setting the management IP address on interface 256. When enabled, the IP address obtained from the DHCP server overrides the static IP address.
