Monitoring NetAXS™ Status Monitoring Inputs 4.4 Monitoring Inputs A NetAXS™ panel supports door, panel, and auxiliary inputs. The door inputs provide egress and tamper status, the panel inputs provide power fail and tamper status, and the auxiliary inputs support any downstream status. Click Status > Inputs to display the Input Status screen: Figure 4-5: Status > Inputs The Input Status screen enables you to: • View the current status of each input (Normal, Alarm, Cut, Short, Shunted). • Shunt or un-shunt any input. When an input is shunted, the alarm is de-activated. This is a way you can allow the input to grant access without falsely signalling an alarm. The default state of an input point is "un-shunted." • Restore the input to its configured time zone. A time zone is a specified time period during which the input will be shunted and the alarm de-activated. (see "Configuring Time Management" on page 24). 82 www.honeywell.com

Monitoring Inputs
A NetAXS™ panel supports door, panel, and auxiliary inputs. The door inputs provide egress and
tamper status, the panel inputs provide power fail and tamper status, and the auxiliary inputs support
any downstream status.

to display the Input Status screen:

The Input Status screen enables you to:
