Tuner Setting ● Turn on the VCR and the TV, and select the AV mode on the TV. ● Set the VCR/TV/CABLE/DBS selector on the Remote to "VCR". VCR CABLE TV /DBS 1 4 2 3 EN 13 Setting channels automatically - Auto Channel Set Use Auto Channel Set only if channels have not been set correctly by the Plug & Play setting. If you want to add or delete channels, use Manual Channel Set (੬ pg. 14). 1 Access Main Menu screen Press MENU. 2 Access Tuner Set Up screen 1 Press @ # to move FUNCTION SET UP TUNER SET UP INITIAL SET UP the arrow to TUNER SET CABLE SET UP DBS SET UP "TUNER SET UP", BAND TV then press fi or 2 OK. Press @ # to move the arrow to AUTO CH SET MANUAL CH SET MENU OK SELECT WITH ARROW KEYS EXIT SELECT THEN PRESS [OK] "TUNER SET", then press fi or OK. 3 Perform Auto Channel Set You can automatically FUNCTION SET UP TUNER SET UP INITIAL SET UP set the receivable TUNER SET CABLE SET UP DBS SET UP channels in your area in the order of their frequencies. BAND TV AUTO CH SET MANUAL CH SET Press %fi to move the MENU arrow to "AUTO CH EXIT OK SELECT WITH ARROW KEYS SELECT THEN PRESS [OK] SET", then press OK. NOTES: FUNCTION SET UP TUNER SET UP INITIAL SET UP TUNER SET CABLE SET UP DBS SET UP ● When Auto Channel Set is complete, "SCAN COMPLETED" AUTO CHANNEL SET SCANNING... PRESS [MENU] TO END appears on screen. ● If the scan was unsuccessful, "SCAN MENU EXIT OK SELECT WITH ARROW KEYS SELECT THEN PRESS [OK] COMPLETED - NO SIGNAL FOUND -" appears on screen. Check the connections, then select "RETRY" to start again, or select "EXIT". 4 Return to normal screen Press MENU. INFORMATION The VCR selects the correct band (TV or CATV) automatically during Auto Channel Set. The selected band will be displayed on the right side of "BAND" on the Tuner Set Up screen.
