● Turn on the VCR and the TV, and select the AV mode on the TV. ● Set the VCR/TV/CABLE/DBS selector on the Remote to "VCR". VCR CABLE TV /DBS 2 3 4 EN 19 Setting DBS receiver input channel & brand After installation, set the DBS receiver's input channel and its brand correctly; otherwise, the Controller cannot work correctly. 1 Turn on DBS receiver Select a channel other than channel 205 on your DBS receiver. 2 Access Main Menu screen on VCR Press MENU. 3 Access DBS Receiver Set screen 1 Press @ # to move FUNCTION SET UP TUNER SET UP INITIAL SET UP the arrow to TUNER SET CABLE SET UP DBS SET UP "TUNER SET UP", then press fi or 2 OK. Press @ # to move the arrow to "DBS SET UP", then INPUT CH OFF BRAND 40 TEST MODE MENU OK SELECT WITH ARROW KEYS EXIT SELECT THEN PRESS [OK] press fi or OK. 4 Select DBS receiver input channel Press %fi to move the arrow to "INPUT CH". Your selection depends on how your DBS receiver is connected to your VCR. FUNCTION SET UP TUNER SET UP DBS SET UP INITIAL SET UP INPUT CH OFF BRAND 40 TEST MODE MENU EXIT OK SELECT WITH ARROW KEYS SELECT THEN PRESS [OK] ● If your DBS receiver is connected to your VCR's ANTENNA IN terminal on the rear panel Press @ # until the channel number representing the DBS receiver's output (ON CH3 or ON CH4) appears on the screen. ● If your DBS receiver is connected to your VCR's AUDIO/VIDEO IN connectors on the front panel Press @ # until "ON F-1" appears on the screen. ● If your DBS receiver is connected to your VCR's AUDIO/VIDEO IN (L-1) or AUDIO/VIDEO IN (L-2) connectors on the rear panel Press @ # until "ON L-1" or "ON L-2" appears on the screen. ● If you do not use a DBS receiver Press @ # until "OFF" appears on the screen.
