2. Select Edit>Device Settings. Check all options that you want to configure and click Next. The software will step you through each option. • Device Options - allows you to set the following options: - Language - Device/Administrator Password - Network Destination Credentials - Remote Configuration Settings - Volume - Configuration Options - Date and Time - Power Saver • Email Server - for the Scan Station to send documents to email recipients, you must define how the Scan Station will access your email server (e.g., SMTP, Return Email Address, etc.). • Active Directory Server - allows you to configure your connection to the Active Directory Server which allows the Scan Station to authenticate credentials and look up specific user information, such as their home directory on the network. • Fax - allows you to configure the Scan Station to send and receive faxes. 4-2 A-61796 December 2013
