When configured to [Mode 1], the cassette heater is always on. After cleaning the print head, the check chart for uneven density is printed. 3 Align the mark on the chart arrow with the mark on the upper left corner of the platen glass. As shown in the illustration, place the pattern on the glass platen with the printed side down and the edge with the arrows toward the back. NOTE The printed position of the arrows in the nozzle check pattern may be in from the edge, depending on the size of the pattern. Regardless of the position of the arrows, place the pattern in the upper left corner of the glass platen. 4 Press the [Start] key. The chart is scanned and the Head drive voltage is automatically adjusted. 5 In case that no improvement is observed, then go to next step to adjust the Head drive voltage manually. 4-41

Check paper
Paper get moisture since it is stored in high humidity environment.
