6: Network Settings To Configure IP Protocol Stack Settings Using Web Manager To configure IP protocol settings, on the Network page, click Protocol Stack > IP. Using the CLI To enter the command level: enable > config > ip Using XML Include in your file: ICMP Settings This page contains lower level ICMP Network Stack specific configuration items. Protocol Stack ICMIP Settings State Table 6-16 ICMP Protocol Stack Settings Description The State selection is used to turn on/off processing of ICMP messages. This includes both incoming and outgoing messages. Choose Enabled or Disabled. Enter the MAC address to add to the ARP cache. Select the type of interface if adding to the ARP cache.
