Tools Date and time To define the date and time used in your phone, and change the date and time format and separators, select Menu > Tools > Settings > Date and time and from the following options: Time and Date - to set the time and date Time zone - to set the time zone of your location. If you set Network operator time > Auto-update, the local time is shown. Date format - to select the format to display dates Date separator - to select the date separator Time format - to select between 24-hour and 12-hour time format Time separator - to select the time separator Clock type - to select whether the analog or digital clock is shown in the standby or active standby mode. See "Clock," p. 76. Clock alarm tone - to select the alarm clock tone Network operator time (network service) - to allow the network to update time, date, and time zone information to your phone. If you select Auto-update, all active connections are disconnected. Check any alarms as these may be affected. Security Phone and SIM You can change the following codes: lock code, PIN code, and PIN2 code. These codes can only include the numbers from 0 to 9. Avoid using access codes similar to emergency numbers, to prevent accidental dialing of the emergency number. To set the security settings, select Menu > Tools > Settings > Security > Phone and SIM and from the following options: Code in use - to select the active code, PIN or UPIN, for the active USIM. This is shown only if the active USIM supports UPIN, and the UPIN is not rejected. PIN code request (or UPIN code request) - to set the phone to request the code each time the phone is switched on.
