Answering Calls from the Ticker Display When you receive a call while using another application on your phone, the notification appears in the Ticker, and you can answer the call right from the Ticker Display. ᮣ With the phone unlocked, touch Answer, Ignore, or Ignore+TXT in the Ticker Display. Note: If the caller is saved to your Contacts, the Ticker Display will show the contact information, including Picture ID, for the incoming call. 41 Call Log When you place, answer, or miss a a call, a record of the call is saved in the Call log. Use Call Log records to make calls, send messages, or update your contacts. Sending Messages using Call Log 1. From the Home screen, touch Phone ➔ Call log. 2. Touch and hold on a call record, then select Send message to create a new message, with the phone number entered in the To list. 3. Continue creating the message. For more information, see "Creating and Sending Messages" on page 62. Creating or Updating Contacts Using Call Log 1. From the Home screen, touch Phone ➔ Call log. 2. Touch and hold on a call record, then select Add to Contacts from the pop-up menu. 3. Choose Create contact or Update existing. 4. Continue entering contact information. Answering Calls from the Ticker Display
When you receive a call while using another application on your
phone, the notification appears in the Ticker, and you can answer
the call right from the Ticker Display.

With the phone unlocked,
touch
Answer
,
Ignore
, or
Ignore+TXT
in the Ticker
Display.
Note:
If the caller is saved to your Contacts, the Ticker Display will show the
contact information, including Picture ID, for the incoming call.
Call Log
When you place, answer, or miss a a call, a record of the call is
saved in the Call log. Use Call Log records to make calls, send
messages, or update your contacts.
Sending Messages using Call Log

From the Home screen, touch
Phone
Call log
.
2.
Touch and hold on a call record, then select
Send message
to create a new message, with the phone number entered
in the
To
list.
3.
Continue creating the message. For more information, see

Creating or Updating Contacts Using Call Log

From the Home screen, touch

2.
Touch and hold on a call record, then select
Add to
Contacts
from the pop-up menu.
