To change or delete a profile's settings

For general instructions on changing settings, see "Customizing Settings" on page 79. • Service provider: Select which service provider to use. • Gateway: Enter the IP address for the WAP gateway. • Gateway username: Enter the your username for the gateway. • Gateway password: Enter your password. • Confirm password: Re-enter your password for confirmation. • Security: Select whether or not you want the Security on. If On is selected, all data sent to and from the gateway will be encrypted. Default is Off. • Connection mode: Select the connection type: either Connectionless or Connection oriented. 6. Tap OK to implement and save the new settings. The display returns to the WAP profile view. Note: Cingular is your default profile. To change or delete a profile's settings: 1. From within the Extras tab, tap System and choose Preferences. 2. Select WAP Services from the list. The WAP Services settings view displays. 3. Select WAP profiles. The WAP profiles view displays listing the available profiles. 4. Select the profile from the list that you want to change or delete. Note: The Cingular profile can not be changed or deleted. An Edit view appears containing the name of the profile in the title bar. 5. You can now do one of the following: • Edit the information that you want to change. or • Delete the profile by tapping and select Delete. 6. Tap OK to implement and save the new settings. Service provider:
Select which service provider to use.
Gateway:
Enter the IP address for the WAP gateway.
