Use the volume slider key to: • Increase or decrease the volume of the earpiece. Move upward to increase or downward to decrease the volume. • Start voice activation, when dialing, by sliding and holding the key. • Switch on, confirm and switch off the office handsfree mode. See "Office Handsfree" on page 120 for more information. • Turn on the backlight. Slide the button up and then down key, or vice versa. Note: For more information on changing volume during a call, see "Changing the Volume" on page 47. Use the voice memo key to: • Start recording a voice memo, press and hold (approximately 2 seconds until you hear a beep). • Stop the memo. • Play the recorded memo. Note: For more information on how to use the voice memo feature, see "Voice Memo" on page 38. Keypad Functions The following is a description of the functions that the keys on the keypad have. Tip! The term press and hold is equivalent to a key press time of approximately 2 seconds. YES • Make a call. • Answer an incoming call. • Select a highlighted item in a menu, sub-menu or setting. • Display the last dialed number list. • Put the active call on hold. • Activate voice dialing by pressing and holding down the button. • Retrieve held calls. 28 Interface and Navigation
