If you do not want existing contacts saved on your memory card or SIM card to be synchronised, then you should import these contacts from the memory card or SIM card to your new phone before you set up the synchronisation account. If you prefer, you can skip some steps and access the setup guide later from the applications screen or change the settings from the Settings menu. Before you can import contacts via a synchronisation account, you first need to set up the
synchronisation account and back up your old contacts to it. If you do not want existing contacts
saved on your memory card or SIM card to be synchronised, then you should import these
