Table 6 WAN Selection Type: PPPoE LABEL DESCRIPTION WAN Selection Select the PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) option for a dial-up connection. PPPoE Username Type the user name given to you by your ISP. PPPoE Password Type the password associated with the user name above. Static IP (Optional) Enter the WAN IP address assigned by your ISP. Note: If you get an error message, make sure you have entered the correct information provided by your ISP. 3.3.3 WAN Selection Type: Static Choose Static as the WAN Selection Type when the WAN port is used as a regular Ethernet.
