Chapter 11 Wireless LAN 11.4 Guest Wireless Screen This screen allows you to enable and configure multiple guest wireless network settings on the ARMOR Z1. You can configure up to four SSIDs to enable multiple BSSs (Basic Service Sets) on the ARMOR Z1. This allows you to use one access point to provide several BSSs simultaneously. You can then assign varying security types to different SSIDs. Wireless clients can use different SSIDs to associate with the same access point. Click Expert > Wireless > Guest Wireless. Table 32 Expert > Wireless > Guest Wireless LABEL Band # Status SSID DESCRIPTION Use 2.4GHz or 5GHz to set up the ARMOR Z1's guest Wi-Fi network. This is the index number of each SSID profile. This shows whether the SSID profile is active (a yellow bulb) or not (a gray bulb). An SSID profile is the set of parameters relating to one of the ARMOR Z1's BSSs. The SSID (Service Set IDentifier) identifies the Service Set with which a wireless device is associated. Security Edit This field displays the name of the wireless profile on the network. When a wireless client scans for an AP to associate with, this is the name that is broadcast and seen in the wireless client utility. This field indicates the security mode of the SSID profile. Click the Edit icon to configure the SSID profile. 11.4.1 Guest Wireless Edit Use this screen to edit an SSID profile. Click the Edit icon next to an SSID in the Guest Wireless screen. Guest Wireless Screen
This screen allows you to enable and configure multiple guest wireless network settings on the
ARMOR Z1.
