Prestige 100WH Internet Access Router The General Setup menu allows you to define the filter sets that you wish to apply to your Ethernet traffic. From Menu 3 - Ethernet Setup, enter 1 to go to Menu 3.1 -General Ethernet Setup. However, input and output filter sets may be useful to block certain packets, reduce traffic, and prevent a security breach on your Ethernet. If you have a need for filters, read about Chapter 7 - Filter Set Configuration, then return to this menu to define the appropriate filter sets. 3.2 TCP/IP Ethernet and DHCP Setup 3.2.1 IP Address and Subnet Mask The Prestige is pre-configured in the factory with an IP address of 192.168.1.1 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 (Class C). This setup should work fine for the basic Internet access application.
