Prestige 324 User's Guide Chapter 17 Menu 3 LAN Setup This chapter covers how to configure your wired Local Area Network (LAN) settings. 17.1 LAN Setup This section describes how to configure the Ethernet using Menu 3 - LAN Setup. From the main menu, enter 3 to display menu 3. Menu 3 - LAN Setup 1. LAN Port Filter Setup 2. TCP/IP and DHCP Setup Enter Menu Selection Number: Figure 17-1 Menu 3 LAN Setup 17.1.1 General Ethernet Setup This menu allows you to specify filter set(s) that you wish to apply to the Ethernet traffic. You seldom need to filter Ethernet traffic; however, the filter sets may be useful to block certain packets, reduce traffic and prevent security breaches.
