Retype to Confirm Type your password again to make sure that you have entered is correctly. Nailed-up Connection Select Nailed-Up Connection if you do not want the connection to time out. Idle Timeout This value specifies the time in seconds that elapses before the Prestige automatically disconnects from the PPTP server. PPTP Configuration Get Automatically from ISP Select this option If your ISP did not assign you a fixed IP address. Use fixed IP address Select this option if your ISP already assigned you an IP address. This is the default selection. My IP Address Type the (static) IP address assigned to you by your ISP. My IP Subnet Mask The subnet mask specifies the network number portion of an IP address. Your Prestige automatically assigns a subnet mask based on the IP address typed in the previous field. Server IP Address Select this option if your ISP gave you an IP address. Otherwise select Server Domain Name. Type the IP address of the PPTP server as given by your ISP. Server Domain Name Connection ID/Name Select this option if your ISP gave you a domain name for your PPTP server. Otherwise select Server IP Address. Type the domain name of your PPTP server, for example "server.PPTP.com". Note that if Use fixed IP address is selected, this option is not available. Enter the connection ID or connection name in this field. It must follow the "c:id" and "n:name" format. For example, C:12 or N:My ISP. This field is optional and depends on the requirements of your ISP. 6.6 Configuring WAN IP To change your Prestige's WAN IP settings, click WAN, then the WAN IP tab. This screen varies according to the type of encapsulation you select.
