8 | Quick Start: Installing and setting up ShareScan Installation tasks Before installing the product, see page 165 for information about hardware, software, and network requirements. To install and configure ShareScan, you perform the following tasks: ■ Install the ShareScan software (Services Manager, Administration console, and the eCopy Connectors supplied with the installation program) on a network computer. ■ License the devices. ■ Configure one or more connector profiles. ■ Set up the ScanFront device on the network and then connect it to the PC running the ShareScan Services Manager. ■ Activate the connector profiles on the device.

Before installing the product, see page 165 for information about hardware, software, and
network requirements.
To install and configure ShareScan, you perform the following tasks:

Install the ShareScan software (Services Manager, Administration console, and the eCopy
Connectors supplied with the installation program) on a network computer.
■
License the devices.
■
Configure one or more connector profiles.
■
Set up the ScanFront device on the network and then connect it to the PC running the
ShareScan Services Manager.
■
Activate the connector profiles on the device.
