Changing the Copy Settings You can change the copy settings such as the reduction/enlargement, intensity, or image quality. For details on changing the page size and media type, see "Changing the Page Size and Media Type" on page 37. „ Reducing or Enlarging a Copy You can reduce or enlarge copies using three different methods: Preset copy ratios: You can select one of the preset ratios to reduce or enlarge copies. Custom copy ratios You can specify the copy ratio as a percentage to reduce or enlarge (Zoom): copies. Automatic ratios The machine automatically reduces or enlarges the image to fit the page (Fit to Page): size. The following sections describe how to use these methods. z Using Preset Copy Ratios Preset copy ratios are convenient when changing between standard page sizes, for example, reducing A4 to A5 size, or enlarging 4" x 6" to letter size. 1 Press [Enlarge/Reduce]. 2 Use [ ] or [ ] to select , then press [OK]. Reducing or Enlarging a Copy
You can reduce or enlarge copies using three different methods:

Using Preset Copy Ratios
Preset copy ratios are convenient when changing between standard page sizes, for example,
reducing A4 to A5 size, or enlarging 4" x 6" to letter size.

Press [Enlarge/Reduce].

] to select <PRESET RATIO>, then press [OK].

] to select the preset ratio.
25% / 70% / 86% / 100% / 115% / 141% / 400%
Pressing [
] decreases the copy ratio and pressing [
] increases the ratio.

] to quickly advance through the ratios.

Using Custom Copy Ratios (Zoom)
In addition to making reduction and enlargement decisions using preset copy ratios, you can use
customized 1% decrement/increment.
