12 Installing the Software and USB Driver 7 Select your camera model name and click [Next]. Just click [Next] if your camera model name does not appear in the list. Place a check mark beside your camera model name. 8 Confirm the installation destination and click [Next]. Installation destination 9 Select the programs you wish to install and click [Next]. Confirm that there is a check mark beside the names of the programs you wish to install. The USB Driver (the software for connecting) is required when the camera is connected to the computer with a USB cable. Ensure that you select a USB driver from below (the appropriate one for your operating system). • Windows XP: no driver required for some models* • Windows 2000:Canon Camera TWAIN Driver • Windows Me:Canon Camera WIA Driver • Windows 98:Canon Camera TWAIN Driver * The Canon Camera WIA Driver is required for Windows XP with the PowerShot G3, PowerShot S45 and PowerShot S230 DIGITAL ELPH/DIGITAL IXUS v3 models.
