87 Downloading Images with the USB Mounter The USB Mounter can only be used with the PowerShot G3, PowerShot S45 and PowerShot S230 DIGITAL ELPH/DIGITAL IXUS v3 camera models on a computer running Mac OS 9. The USB Mounter is a driver program that allows images on a memory card in a camera to be displayed on the desktop as if the camera were a card reader. Images can be downloaded to the computer with the same procedures used to copy images from a card reader. The following actions cannot be taken while the USB Mounter is in use. •Starting ImageBrowser automatically (when the USB cable is connected). •Using ImageBrowser to adjust camera settings. •Shooting with RemoteCapture. •Deleting images from the camera. •Uploading images from the computer to the camera. Enabling the USB Mounter To download images with the USB Mounter, first enable it with the following procedures. 1 Select [Control Panels] from the Apple menu and [Canon USB Camera Driver]. The Canon USB Camera Driver control panel will display. 2 Select [Card Reader Mode] and close the control panel. Click here to close it. A dialog prompting you to restart the computer will display. The USB Mounter can only be used with the PowerShot G3, PowerShot S45 and

The USB Mounter is a driver program that allows images on a memory card in a

To download images with the USB Mounter, first enable it with the following
procedures.
