1 Purpose and scope Introduction Note This software technical reference (STR) provides information about and troubleshooting tips for the printing-system software for the HP Color LaserJet 9500 series printer. This document is prepared in an electronic format to serve as a quick-reference tool for Customer Care Center (CCC) agents, support engineers, system administrators, management information systems (MIS) personnel, and HP Color LaserJet 9500 printer end users, as appropriate. The following information is included in this technical reference: • descriptions of drivers and platforms with system modifications • procedures for installing and uninstalling software components • descriptions of problems that can arise while using the printer, and known solutions to those problems An addendum to this STR includes system modification information and descriptions of known software issues and workarounds. Note The following table contains descriptions of the printer models that are described in this STR. The printing-system software for each printer model accommodates the differences between models. Bundle configurations might vary among countries/regions.
