These delays may substantially reduce the number of pages printed per minute. 31

Reprinting Jammed Pages
When a paper jam is cleared in the HP LaserJet 5P printer and
other previous HP LaserJet printers, the printer will automatically
reprint the page(s) that were jammed. The HP LaserJet 6P printer
will not do this by default with standard memory installed. The
user must send the affected page(s) again from the host system to
reprint them. If the user wishes the printer to reprint jammed
pages automatically, the best solution is to add memory to the
printer. If the user does not want to add memory but still wants
jammed pages to reprint automatically, the “REPRINT” PJL
variable should be changed from its default setting of
AUTO to
ON.
Note
If the “REPRINT” variable is turned ON with
only default memory installed in the HP
LaserJet 6P printer, the user may experience
delays when printing multi-page jobs.
These
delays may substantially reduce the number of
pages printed per minute.
