No 1 Choose one of the following: x If you want HP OfficeJet to respond automatically whenever you answer the phone and hear fax tones, verify that Auto Answer is enabled. (The light next to Auto Answer is on when the feature is enabled. Press the Auto Answer button to turn it on or off.) Choose one of the following:
If you want HP OfficeJet to respond automatically whenever you
answer the phone and hear fax tones, verify that
Auto Answer
is
enabled. (The light next to Auto Answer is on when the feature is
enabled. Press the Auto Answer button to turn it on or off.)
Change the Rings to Answer setting (the default setting is 1) ,

enough to allow you time to answer the phone before HP OfficeJet
connects.
