Redialing a Busy Number Automatically If a busy signal is encountered, HP OfficeJet automatically redials the number until a connection is made. NOTE This option does not work for off-hook dialing. For international calls, we recommend that you enable the feature that redials a number that is not answered, as explained in the next section, "Redialing an Unanswered Number Automatically." 1 Press Fax Menu. 2 Press 5 and then press 2. 3 Press f to toggle between "Off" and "On." 4 After the state that you want appears, press Enter/Save. TIP To redial the last fax number immediately, press Redial/Pause. Redialing an Unanswered Number Automatically You can set HP OfficeJet to redial an unanswered number automatically. This lets you dial those numbers quickly using the Speed Dial button and a one- or two-digit code. You can create up to 100 individual and group codes. The first 12 speed-dial numbers are also automatically assigned to the onetouch speed-dial buttons on the left side of the fax panel.
